The brief was to make slab-scale stone samples feel like the main exhibit rather than a materials library. Full-height marble and granite panels sit inside arched, oval and rectangular frames against a blush-pink shell, so each stone reads as a finished surface, not a swatch.
A small seating nook, set apart in a darker material and signed 'Enjoy', gives visitors somewhere to sit with a sample rather than compare it standing up. It is the one point in the plan where the pace is meant to slow down.
